Goats Milk Soap

Goats milk soap has been heralded for many years as a brilliant, gentle and cleansing product. Its main ingredient, Lactic acid, is used in many high-end cosmetics because it both cleans the skin without drying, as much soap does.

Goats Milk Soap

In its plain form, it is a wonderful soap for those suffering from dermatological conditions, or very young babies because it is so gentle, and PH balanced to human skin.

I develop my goat’s milk to cover a variety of day-to-day skin care needs.  I do need to add though, that all my soaps can be used for all purposes. They are never overly fragranced, and they all have brilliant cleansing but gentle properties. However, I would never recommend anything but plain goats’ milk for those suffering skin outbreaks.

Individual soaps are £5 each and you can get one of all four for an incredible £15, with a gift box thrown in!

Plain Goats Milk Soap

Goats milk soap is wonderful on the skin, it is PH balanced, offers a non-irritant, non-drying product that can be used as a sensitive soap, on newborn babies and even on cases of eczema and psoriasis. If you have any issues with other soaps, or you struggle with scents and fragrances, this is the soap for you.

Grapefruit, Lavender & Calendula Soap

This soap was designed by me as a facial soap for a spotty teenager. I couldn’t see my son using a two-step cleansing and moisturisng system so I added calendula to the cleansing, gentle, PH balanced goats milk soap and added lavender and grapefruit for their stringent, antiseptic properties. Lauded as a healer for centuries, lavender helps the skin recover from scarring, whilst the grapefruit adds that citric acid for a thorough cleanse.

Tangerine & Poppyseed

Created as a luxurious hand soap, this soap combines the gentle cleansing of goats milk soap, suitable for any dry skin and irritated hands from overwashing, with a beautiful citric tang which helps to fully cleanse hands. Poppy seeds are a wonderful exfoliant, allowing the hands to really get a scrub clean.

Patchouli & Lime with Indigo

The lime really tones down the darker, more heady top notes in the patchouli fragrance in this combination of scents. The Indigo gives a deep, rich colour whilst remaining totally natural and gentle on skin, unlike many colourants. This soap makes a wonderful body soap, patchouli has long been used on skin to defend again odours whilst remaining gentle.

Juniper & Pink Clay

Having older skin, I wanted to create a facial bar that used the cleansing, ph balancing work of goatsmilk soap with the moisturising, firming properties of French clay. For that spa-like feel I added my favourite scent, juniper, which always makes me think of friday, even on cold monday mornings and leaves my skin feeling fantastic. Particularly for those of us who don’t use night creams on our skin (you never should) this soap offers a gentle mositurising quality, whilst not getting in the way of the bodies own cycles.
